Diane upton
Diane Upton is a multidisciplinary artist and author whose creative journey spans both the literary and fine arts worlds. With a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and History from the University of Pennsylvania and advanced training in sculpture, painting, and color theory from the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Diane brings a richly visual perspective to everything she creates.
Her career has included award-winning contributions to historical preservation, notably earning the DC Preservation Award and multiple Honor Awards from the GSA Design Awards. Diane has worked on significant national landmarks such as the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and Blair House, restoring intricate metalwork and historic lighting under the direction of the GSA White House Service Center and the U.S. State Department.
A member of the American Institute for Conservation and the National Association of Professional Women, Diane seamlessly blends her mastery of visual detail with narrative depth in her writing. Her novels are as finely crafted as her artistic restorations—layered, thoughtful, and evocative.
